Meet Our Team

FOUNDER & CEO

Cassandra Hatter

Australian Safe Care was founded by Cassandra, a compassionate leader with both a Bachelor’s and Master’s Degree in Education as well as a Bachelors of Human Movement Science from the faculty of Health Science. With over 20 years of teaching experience. Her career as a teacher provided valuable insights into the challenges faced by people living with disability, aged care clients, and vulnerable youth, driving her to take meaningful action.

Recognising an urgent need for positive change in the care sector, Cassandra was inspired to create Australian Safe Care a service built on dignity, safety, and humanity.

In 2020, she laid the foundation for what would become Australian Safe Care, bringing together a team with more than 150 years of combined experience in aged care, disability support, education, and community services. Her mission is clear: to deliver care with heart, creating safe and supportive environments where people can thrive, heal, and grow.

With her wealth of experience in education and her heartfelt commitment to making a difference, Cassandra continues to lead Australian Safe Care forward driven by her passion for ensuring every individual, whether an NDIS participant, aged care client, youth, or any person in crisis, receives the respect, safety, and support they truly deserve.
